Erik Amaya was born in Monterey Park, California. He currently lives in San Gabriel, California. He attended the University of Southern California where he studied in the Department of English with an emphasis in writing. He was the host of The Satellite Show, an Internet variety program featuring satire, odd news items, and muscial acts. He has written reviews for Savant Magazine and has operated www.thesatelliteshow.com for three years.

Currently, a graphic novel, Singopolis, is in preparation for publication. Erik also has several novels in the planning stages and one ready for revision. He intends to enter the Novel Writing Masters program at the University of Manchester in the fall and plans to write for a living.
