This handsome young trendsetter from California has raised the bar for unpublished fiction, and is looking for your vote. Mr. Carpenter earned a bachelor's degree in fiction from the University of Southern California, and studied at Harvard over the summer. His resume includes brief stints as a substitute teacher, assistant electrician, receptionist, professional internet surfer, office temp, and cashier. He currently resides in Sacramento with his cat Pete, where is he is working on a short novel concerning the Los Angeles punk rock scene.
